Build the adversary, honestly
Veync is a small team working on autonomous offensive tooling and adversarial AI research, from Paris and remotely across the EU.
Why here
What makes this work different
Offensive security roles are not scarce. These are the specific things this one offers that most do not.
A layer nobody has measured
Agent authorization and guardrail integrity are genuinely new ground. There is no settled taxonomy, which means the work is research rather than the application of someone else's checklist.
Autonomy as leverage
You will not spend your week repeating a technique you already understand. The repetitive breadth is the engine's job; yours is the part that needs judgement.
Constraints that are real
Everything runs under written authorization with enforced scope. Working inside hard limits is a discipline, and it is the difference between a security company and a liability.
Research that ships
Labs publishes, under coordinated disclosure and with credit to whoever found it. Your name is on your work.
Open roles
Where we are hiring
Roles are posted as they open. If none of them is quite you but the work obviously is, write anyway — we read every speculative application.
Senior Offensive Security Researcher, AI Systems
Own research into how model guardrails, agent authorization and AI-integrated applications fail under adversarial pressure, and turn it into techniques the platform runs safely in production. You will need several years of hands-on offensive security or red-team work and a record of finding and responsibly disclosing real vulnerabilities; machine-learning experience helps but is not required.
- Research
- Paris or remote (EU)
Platform Engineer, Adversary Control Plane
Build and operate the control plane that scopes, throttles and stops every Veync engagement: scope enforcement, the kill switch, audit logging and the evidence pipeline. You will need strong experience of distributed systems in Go, Rust or TypeScript, infrastructure as code on a major cloud, and a habit of designing for failure; security-tooling experience is a plus.
- Engineering
- Paris
Enterprise Account Executive, Regulated Industries
Lead new-business sales to banks, insurers, critical-infrastructure operators and other regulated organisations across Europe, from the first briefing through security review to contract. You will need a record of closing complex security or compliance software deals with CISOs and risk leaders, and professional fluency in English and French.

Hiring process
What to expect
Stated up front so you can decide whether to spend your time on it. We do not run unpaid take-home exercises that resemble production work.
A conversation
Forty-five minutes on what you have built or broken, and what you want to work on. No screening questionnaire.
A technical discussion
A deep dive on real work, yours or ours. For research roles this is usually a walk through a finding you are proud of.
A paid exercise, if any
Where a practical exercise genuinely helps, it is scoped to a day and it is paid. We do not ask for free work.
Decision and references
A decision with reasons either way, and references taken only with your agreement and only at the end.
Where you work
Paris, or remote across the EU
The company is headquartered in Paris La Défense and most roles can be done from there or remotely from anywhere we can employ or contract legally within the EU. Research roles are remote-friendly by default; some operations roles involve customer environments and carry travel.
We are deliberately EU-centric. Data residency is a product commitment, and a team distributed across jurisdictions that the commitment does not cover would make it harder to keep. That constrains hiring, and we accept the constraint.
Written communication matters more here than in a co-located team. Scope, authorization and evidence are all written artefacts in this company, and the ability to write precisely about technical work is part of every role rather than a nice-to-have.
Introduce yourself
Tell us what you have built or broken and what you would want to own here. A short, specific note beats a long general one.
Veync is an equal-opportunity employer and recruits only under the applicable employment law of the jurisdiction concerned.
