Cookie policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This website sets no cookies of its own, uses no local storage for tracking and loads nothing from third-party domains. The only cookies you may receive are strictly necessary security cookies from our content delivery network, which is why you have not been shown a consent banner.
What this policy covers
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device; similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels. This policy explains which of them veync.com uses — in practice, almost none. It is published by VEYNC, the operator of veync.com.
Why there is no banner
Under the ePrivacy rules, as applied in France by the CNIL and elsewhere in the EU and the UK by their regulators, consent is required before storing or reading non-essential information on your device. This site stores nothing of its own: there are no analytics cookies, no advertising identifiers, no embedded video players, no social widgets, no web fonts fetched from a third party and no map tiles.
A banner asking permission for cookies that do not exist would be theatre, and it would train you to dismiss a dialogue that elsewhere matters. So we did the other thing: we removed the cookies.
This is verifiable rather than a claim. The site's automated test suite asserts on every page, in both languages, that no cookie is set and that no request leaves the site's own origin. A change that broke this would fail the build.
Strictly necessary security cookies
Requests to veync.com are delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., our content delivery and security provider. To tell genuine visitors from automated abuse, Cloudflare may set a short-lived, strictly necessary cookie such as __cf_bm, which expires after thirty minutes, or cf_clearance once a security challenge has been passed.
These cookies do not identify you and are not used for analytics or advertising. They are exempt from consent because they are needed to deliver the site securely, and they are described in Cloudflare's own cookie documentation.
What the form does
The briefing request form keeps the values you type in the browser memory while you are filling it in, and discards them when you leave the page. It writes nothing to your device.
When you submit it, the form opens a pre-filled email in your own email client. Nothing is sent to us until you send that email, and no cookie is involved.
If analytics were ever enabled
The site is built so that a privacy-first, cookieless analytics option can be switched on by configuration. It is off in this deployment, and this section describes what it would do if an operator enabled it, so the statement above stays accurate.
It would record aggregate page views, referrer domains, approximate country and device type. It would not set a cookie, would not store an identifier on your device, would not follow you between sites and would not build a profile. No personal data would be collected and no consent would be required.
If analytics are ever enabled, this page is updated in the same change, and the provider is added to the processors table in the privacy policy.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary security cookies may cause a security check to appear before the site loads, but will not otherwise change how this site works.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site uses cookies, we update this page in the same release and change the date at the top. A non-essential cookie would only ever be introduced together with a consent mechanism.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and without prejudice to the mandatory ePrivacy and data-protection rules of your country of residence.
